Robin Tierney, can be spotted between journeys on her bike around Washington, DC, mobile office tucked in her backpack. She has been freelancing full-time since the ’80s, covering art, health, travel, hospitality and other topics. Her column “Eco Simple” appears in newspapers in DC, Baltimore and San Francisco. Her writing has won a number of awards and the independence to travel far and wide. She and her husband Kevin (well, mainly Kevin) are building a model near-net-zero environmentally friendly home in Daytona Beach.
